8.1.7 Edit Rules

Myron is packaged with collections of substitution and transform rules. The collections can be viewed on the substitutions and transforms displays. Both displays are initiated from the Display menu item.

To add a rule,

activate an equation or a transform in the algebra workspace and apply Expressions Persist .

The following instructions pertain to the rules display.

To remove a rule,

check the box to the left of the rule and touch . Rules in the built-in collection cannot be removed.

To edit a rule,

check the box to the left of the rule and touch . All checked rules will be added to the display.

To delete all unmarked rules,

touch (only unlocked rules will be selected) and then touch .
